Australian Joint Stock Bank

Commercial premises

This bank was located opposite the old Richmond Post Office, Windsor Street, Richmond (now the site of Wespac Bank) and was known as the Post Office Hotel operated by George Cobcroft. The premises were purchased by the AJS Bank in March 1891 and were renovated a year later.
