The school buildings located at 51 Blaxlands Ridge Road, Blaxlands Ridge are now used as a Community Centre and are owned by Hawkesbury City Council.
Miss Edith Black was the first teacher and a nearby road was named in her honour.
Blaxlands Ridge Public School opened as a Provisional School in August 1892 and operated as a Public School from July 1905 until December 1977. A new school building was constructed in 1909.
