A feature of Chapel Street is the avenue of London Plane trees which were planted by local businessman George Guest between 1885 and 1894. The tree lined street leads to one of the entrances to the Hobartville Estate.
Street commencing in Francis Street, thence in a south westerly direction crossing Windsor and March Streets and ending at the gate of the Hobartville Estate.
The young trees planted in Chapel Street are thriving wonderfully this year. The older trees were planted ten years ago by Mr [George] Guest.
