Park for public recreation dedicated 22 August 1906, located at Central Colo on the southern bank of the Colo River. The park is made up of a portion of H. B. Morgan’s 60 acres grant (Portion 20) and part of William Moran’s grant (Portion 123), Parish of Meehan, County of Cook (1905). The high level concrete Colo River Bridge now crosses the river at this point.
