Located on the Putty Road (Singleton Road) Colo Heights. Suppliers of Australian hardwood for home building, decking and furniture.
Culoul Sawmill began operating in 1939. In 1960, Jim Buckett purchased the mill from the original owners. In 1971 John Macintosh established Macintosh Sawmill in the Colo Heights area. In 1985, when many sawmills were disappearing from the Hawkesbury River region, John Mackintosh purchased the business from Jim Buckett.
The two mills were merged in 1985 to form Culoul Sawmills and continue to be operated and owned by the Macintosh family.
