Deerubbun is the aboriginal word for the Hawkesbury River (authority P.D. McCarthy).
Located on Cornwallis Road, Windsor having a frontage to the Hawkesbury River and adjoining Howe Park.
A park in Windsor on the west bank of the Hawkesbury River, and north of the junction with Rickabys Creek. This name and spelling was officially assigned by the Geographical Names Board of NSW and was gazetted on 14 November 1975.
The spelling Deerubbin has been adopted by Hawkesbury City Council - see Deerubbin Park
