Hawkesbury People & Places ‘At a meeting held on Monday evening last, at the School of Arts, it was decided to form a Progress Association to be known as “The Hawkesbury District Progress Association”. The next meeting will take place on Tuesday evening next. An association of this kind should be an advantage to the town and district’. ‘The membership of the Hawkesbury District Progress Association now numbers over 60, which includes most of the principal townsmen of Windsor’. ‘The Progress Association has taken up the matter of agitating for the establishment of a telephone exchange in Windsor. If it can be carried into effect it will mean a most important advantage to the town’. Please make your comment below.
