Hawkesbury People & Places Hillcrest is a property located at 219 Bells Line of Road, North Richmond, New South Wales. It is part of Portion 87, Parish of Kurrajong, County of Cook which was a 300 acre grant to Henry Kable on 5 April 1821. The property was inherited by Eric William Denniss following the death of Hezekiah Parker in October 1943. The property was to go to Hezekiah’s daughter Elsie Edith Denniss (wife of Ronald Eric) however Elsie died a few months before Hezekiah, in July 1943. The property continued in family ownership until the death of Elsie and Eric’s son Ronald Eric Denniss in February 2004. In the 1920s Hillcrest was the home of Henry and Caroline Stevenson and their two children William and Bessie. Caroline Stevenson died at Hillcrest in June 1927.
