Macquarie described Kershaw’s Farm as being about 7 miles down the river from Green Hills on the northern bank of the Hawkesbury River. The farm was granted to Richard Waring then being transferred to Joseph Kershaw in 1804. It was portion 38, Parish of Wilberforce, County of Cook, on the road from Windsor to Wilberforce.
