Dalton’s Service Station opened on Bell’s Line of Road, Kurmond in April/May 1954, opposite Kurmond Public School. The premises were constructed from Clark’s Bricks. Later, the Dalton’s opened another service station on the other side of the road next to Kurmond Public School. This was later used as Kurmond Farm Machinery but is now vacant (Nov 2005).
