Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Kurrajong and District Hospital Society which is a registered charity with a voluntary board and has operated a hospital at Kurrajong since 1958.
The society was known initially as the War Memorial Maternity Hospital Society but shortly after opening the facility was approved for the admission of general patients and so became the Kurrajong and District Hospital Society.
From 1 May 1982 the society has conducted the hospital which is now known as Kurrajong and District Community Nursing Home.
