Les Beatty Oval

The oval was completed in August 1967 and was named after the school’s first principal Les Beatty as a tribute to his outstanding services to the development of the school.

There were plans to build a pavilion overlooking the oval to be called the ‘Twogood Pavilion’ after the school’s second principal but it was never constructed and the money raised was used to buy a tractor.
