This property is located on the corner of Pitt Town Bottoms Road and Pitt Town Road, Pitt Town. It is the site of the Lynwood Country Club comprising a clubhouse and an 18 hole golf course whcih was completed in 2010. This club was formerly known as Kellyville Country Club and is now part of the Castle Hill RSL Group.
One of the oldest surviving houses in the Pitt Town area, this late Colonial homestead was built about 1830 on land acquired by John McDonald in 1825. He operated an horse-powered grain mill possibly located on this property. McDonald died in 1874.
