Operated as a provisional school from October 1891 to December 1893, again from April 1936 to November 1942 and from September 1946 to November 1957. Also operated as a half-time school with Bell from February 1894 to April 1896 and from June 1899 to March 1901. It was upgraded to a public school in November 1957 until closure in March 1983.
