Hawkesbury People & Places Situated at 54 Bells Line of Road, North Richmond the former Wesleyan Church was opened on the 27 August 1893 and replaced an earlier structure which was opened in 1857. The land is a small part of an 100 acre grant to Richard Rouse described as Portion 120 Parish of Currency, County of Cook dated 31 March 1802. The new Wesleyan Church at North Richmond is just about finished, and looks well. It will be opened shortly. The foundation stone of the new Wesleyan Church at North Richmond will be laid by R H Ducker on Wednesday (24th May). The anniversary of North Richmond Wesleyan Church held last Sunday. Rev A S Swift conducted the service and the programme included vocal and instrumental music. Following renovations the church was re-opened for Methodist services on 8 May 1931.
