Overton Road, Kurrajong

Overton Road runs in a westerly direction for about 1.5km from the intersection with Comleroy Road and Peel Parade in Kurrajong, New South Wales.

The Overton family, children of James and Mary (nee Turner) settled and farmed the Comleroy Road area of Kurrajong. James Overton died on the 8 February 1876 aged 78 years and his wife Mary on 21 December 1901 aged 81. Both were buried in the churchyard of St Phillip’s Anglican Church, North Richmond. This cemetery is the final resting place of many of the descendants of James and Mary.
