Located on the corner of George Street and Kable Street, Windsor, New South Wales, this law firm is one of the oldest in Australia having commenced practice in Windsor by Frances Beddek in 1828. William Walker, owner of ‘Crescentville’ (80 The Terrace, Windsor) served as an articled clerk under the guidance of Beddek from 1841 to 1852. The firm has been owned by several generations of the Paine family since the 1930s. The classical style facade was added to the building in 1921.
