‘The Pitt Town Cricket Club has been re-organised, and a river excursion will be run under the auspices of the club on Eight Hour Day. The s.s. “Surprise” will leave Buttsworth’s Wharf at 7.30am and Pitt Town at 8 am for Wiseman’s Ferry. Particulars are advertised’.
