Hawkesbury People & Places A meeting of the Riverstone Workmen’s Progress and debating Society was held in the Temperance hall on Saturday night for the purpose of establishing a Civilian Rifle Club. There was a large attendance of local persons and a number of visiting friends, including Mr B Hall, M P, Mr W I Perry, J P, (secretary of the Windsor Civilian Rifle Club), Staff Sergt Major Duke (attached to ‘A’ Windsor Coy, 3rd Regt), Color Sergt Hannabus (‘A’ Windsor Coy), and Mr G Terry (Box Hill), Mr J H Cragg, J P, (secretary of the Workmen’s Progress and Debating Society) occupied the chair, and Mr J Rone the vice chair…’ Please make your comment below.
