This Aboriginal Mission was located on Holmes Drive, Sackville Reach, New South Wales. The land was set aside by the NSW government in 1896.
Excerpt from the Parish of Meehan, County of Cook map dated May 1905 showing the flood prone land set aside for the Aboriginal Mission.
‘Miss Dixon (missionary to the aborigines) paid a visit to the mission station at Plumpton last week, where she was warmly received. She has since returned to her own station at Sackville Reach.’
