Star of Richmond Grand United Order of Oddfellows

A branch of the Star of Richmond Grand United Order of Oddfellows was opened at Richmond on Thursday evening, 25th August, at the meeting room, Commercial Hotel, by Bro J Lennon, P N G assisted by Bros Hicks, Cameron and Barrett. About 40 residents had signed the application to the Grand Lodge, and owing to the number in and around Richmond this was readily granted by the committee of management.'

Officers were also elected for the coming year.
