The naming of Teale Road, East Kurrajong, New South Wales reflects early land ownership by William Henry Teale, school teacher of Marrickville, NSW. Teale’s land included Portions 75, 76 and 77, Parish of Meehan, County of Cook covering about 213 acres and they were purchased by Teale from the government of NSW on the 6 August 1904 for the sum of 88 pounds 19 shillings and 2 pence.
