Hawkesbury People & Places Operated as a half-time school with Colo Upper from August 1868 until July 1883, then as a provisional school from January 1884 until May 1889, then as half-time school with Colo Central (2) from September 1889 until May 1892, then as a houe-to-house school from July 1892 until October 1894, then again as a half-time school with Colo Uppper from November 1894 until March 1904, and again as a provisional school from April 1904 until December 1915, then as a public school from January 1916 until closure in July 1934. Was known as Wheeny Creek (1) until May 1889, then as Colo Central (1) until May 1892, also known as Colo Middle until 1889. School in 1884 was located on Everingham’s block which was leased by Mr Gee and was opposite Bullock’s Wharf on the Colo River. Please make your comment below.
