The first annual ball will be held on the 25 September 1901 in the hall of the catholic school in Windsor.

A successful meeting was held at the Royal Hotel on Wednesday evening when it was decided to form a social union to be called The Windsor Mercantile Assembly. It was resolved to hold dances in the R C School Hall on alternate Wednesdays commencing June 5th. The fee for the season was fixed at ?1 payable in advance.
