Windsor Municipal Council Chambers

Located at 325 George Street, Windsor.

The old telegraph office which had been built in 1860 in George Street opposite Christie Street, was refurbished and opened as a town hall in January 1891. This building was demolished and new premises were constructed on the same site opening in June 1934. This building still stands however new council premises were constructed at 366 George Street, opposite McQuade Park in 1966. The buildings were renovated and extended in 1980/81.
